    I haven't had a chance to read the published article in the journal (nor will I probably), but if what they are claiming is true, it's great. I know it probably won't change things much (diagnosis first, excisional biopsy to confirm) but it's a nifty little gadget all the same.

    Interesting....however like many oral cancer screening tools ( dies, brush biopsy, saliva tests divining rods) the senstivity and specificity are never as good as traditional methods. Also a test like this will only identify suface changes and may give false positives with some non cancer lesions like white patches.
