Ok, some I'm replacing some parts on my WC, but i'm just wondering what is the optimal fan/radiator setting. I'll have a 120mm fan/radiator and i'm just thinking, is it better to have the rad pinned against the case, with the fan attached to the rad, blowing on it, or sucking air from it? or the fan attached to the case etc etc.

I think you'll want to have the fan mounted to the case, and then rad mounted to the fan.

Which way you set it up is down to you, I prefer to have the fan blowing into the case, that way it gets the cooler air. The downside of course is that the hot air off the rad gets blown into the case. So far this hasn't been an issue. (it's cool enough and hasn't caused any of the components to overheat)

You'll probably want to use anti-vibration mountings for the fan though. I opted to use them on both sides, fan/case and fan/rad. Helps a bit and they're not expensive.
