Over about the last 7-8 years of fixing pc's I have built almost a warddrobe full of cr*p, from printer cables to 3 1/2inch floppy drives, to harddisks why i bothered saving them i will never know, i suppose there is a very rare occasion i need a ethernet cable or old parralel cable probably once in a blue moon, anyway the time has come to make room for dbnavan jnr, and he or she will be getting my wardrobe meaning Mrs Dbnavan is giving me hard time about clearing out all the old junk, most of which wouldnt even get 5cent on ebay.

So my question is how do I get rid of it, was thinking of gradually putting bits in black bin, along with household rubbish but thats probably not Eviornmently Friendly, but not sure what else to do, dont have a car to bring it anywhere.

    http://www.envirocentre.ie/downloads/Waste%20Recyclers%20ELECTRONICSCOMPUTERS%20March%2028%20%202006.pdf

Lists all the computer parts recycling places. Some will actually call out and pick the stuff up of you. I saw on the news on that new city channel that a new place opened but can't remember the name. Most don't charge as they're paid from the WEE funds I think.

Hey DBNavan. If you actually live in Navan you can take all your old electronic stuff/computers to the Recycling centre off the Athboy Road. It'll cost you Eu2 to get in.
Would you, by chance, know where I could get my hands on a replacement motherboard for a Dell Latidude Laptop CSx (PIII, 500MHz)? That would be useful. Thanks.
