I've been cut off from the net in work i.e they've removed firefox, have content blocker on internet explorer and i've been given strict instructions not to install anymore programs on the computer so is it possible to run firefox from a usb flash drive?

you might still want to make sure it's OK with your superiors to run Firefox even portable from a pen drive.

I've read the guideline for internet usage and it says nothing about using a pen drive o bypass their internet restrictions. Also don't really give monkies about the job, plus got the whole verbal/written warning procedure to go through before they could fire me.

    Come on, Internet restrictions???

How come they haven't implimented group policy to restrict your access or taken you out of the admin or Power users group?

I think Tescos are looking for new employees, but I'm not sure about that.

I'd be really careful bypassing internet restrictions, it is a sackable offence.
