Ok folks, from here on in, anybody seeking or giving legal advice will get a one week ban, effective immediately.
This is as a result of too many users, including regular posters, seeking and giving legal advice in the forum, which is not what it's for.
I would also request that if you see a thread that seeks legal advice, that you report it using the report a post function. The icon looks like this:

Further to this, please do not reply to such a thread, even to say "you're going to get banned", because that ruins the element of surprise that affords besty and me just the faintest bit of satisfaction.
I am leaving this thread open for feedback for the time being. I may or may not close it if it becomes a little too hot to handle.0
