    afternoon all.

a friend of mine has a Comag SL 55 and would like distribute the signal from this to a few tv's around the house.

Does anyone know if the comag has an RF Output (correct term??)? If so, I was thinking of taking this feed and distributing it to the bedroom, kitchen and tv room. Could I then use a TV Eye type dvice to change channels?

The house is a new build and each room was wired with coax (standard coax) and cat 5e.

    Any thoughts?

    MJ

AFAIK it does not have RF out, you could use a video or a modulator but probably cheaper/easier just to get a receiver with RF out.

Thanks Tony, so if they do get a receiver with a modulator, will what I described work?

Not sure of Tv eye compatibilty unless you get a generic one which works with any type of receiver, you will certainly need a compatible amplifier or you could use a standard amp and powermid wireless controllers for the remote function. If memory serves triax or labgear did such a system once. Another alternative is videosenders which can be used with the comags scart socket but these may be affected by the microwave oven when in use.

TV eye only works with Digibox. But wireless remotes and video senders both do remote control to virtually any device.
