Graphics Card and Monitor

I'm currently looking at purchasing a new monitor for easier multi-tabling when playing poker. I've seen various monitors that quote their max resolution as 1600x1200. Do I need a graphics card that supports this or will I be able to display this resolution using my current X300? Thanks.

You will need a graphics card that supports that resolution. I don't know if the X300 does, I'm sure you can check that.

EDIT: According to this your X300 should support that resolution.
