does anyone know if the casinos will be running theyre tourneys on thursday night? Surely they will have to close at twelve?

Why would they close at 12? The should only have to stop serving drink at 12, surely.

well bookies are all closed on good friday so i presume the casinos will have to....... i dunno to be honest thats why im asking. itl be great if theyre open because there is absolutley nothing else to do!!!

Just wondering if there are any games on in the casinos on friday night. If they are open, can anyone tell me what tourneys are on?

Before anyone says it, i know there is a rebuy on in Jurys but that will be a crazy game and a bit much for my bankroll.

As I mentioned above I will be going to the Scalps game in the Fitz. 55+5 with one rebuy for 50. Should be a decent crowd I reckon. There were 90+ last week. The 400 rebuy shouldn't interfere with the numbers much.

Sounds like a decent game 5star. What is the standard like usually on a friday night in there?

Hoping to get a home game sorted for friday night but if not i will definitely be making my first visit to the Fitz for the game mentioned above.

standard is usually pretty good on a friday. There are poker novices then too, but for the most part is made up of regulars and decent players.

Really? I must have been playing a different scalps tourney so cos the one I played was full of shocking bad players. I will admit that the final table contained a higher percentage of quality player than normal though. i have found that the quality of play in this and most of the fitz tourneys (and everywhere) has gone down which probably explains why I'm starting to finish ITM in a few of them.

I agree that the standard has generally gone down, but this is probably due to the higher numbers playing. There is still a group of about 40-50 that at least 7 of the FT will be drawn from generally.
