Town's For Stag

    Hi all ,
    I know this has been done a thousand times before and I have read alot of the previous related posts, I'm only 7 weeks away from my wedding and have to decide on where to go for a stag night (Or 2). My Best Man lives in Spain and won't be home for the stag so it's fallen upon myself to organise it . I'm based in Galway and wouldn't really like to be travelling more than 2 hours from there. Options which are floating around in my head are Westport , Kilkenny , Sligo and maybe doubling Ennis with Limerick , was thinkin about the paintballing down there as an activity on the Sat morning activity instead of just waking up and heading off on the piss again.

    Ideally we'll be travelling on a Friday afternoon/evening and returning home on the Sunday.

    I also had a look at going abroad but don't think it would be a runner as I suspect alot of the "lads" wouldn't bother their h0le booking flights and all that sh1te.

    Any other suggestions or comments on above spots greatly appreciated as I really have to decide on something very soon.

    I went to a stag in Westport and it was great craic. Mind you it was just a one day pissup.

    The only way that you can organise the away trip is if you pick a place and get the flights and hotel in mind - then shoot off an email and say - "this is what it is - and this is what it costs - any questions?"

    And say - if I pay for it you can pay me back.... but you have to be sure that they will pay you back. A bit of a nightmare - but if its a good bunch of lads there shouldn't be any problem. Plus you can get all the cash when ye meet up at the airport - nice spending money (not that you, as the stag, should need much!)

    It would be a good town for the 1 dayer alright but as I mentioned it will probably be a Friday night and Saturday event. I'd like to do something other than boozing on the Saturday afternoon but if all else fails !!
