10 20nl. 9 Handed. The button is a super live one and the only reason Im at the godforsaken table. Ive followed him from 3-6 to 5-10 and now here. If he moved to 50 100 Id consider folowing him. Ive been all in with him about ten times, mostly for 1/4 buyins and so on. The hands were like 9T, 48s, A6s and so on - Ive never actually seen him with a big pair; i dont think he gets them.

I dont know these players too well, I dont recognise any of them as regulars. The live one hasnt been at the table so long, so I reckon whilst they know hes bad they dont quite realise how bad.

Sb makes it 60 utg, he has 1500. The cutoff calls with 1k behind. His range is very wide - he doesnt play well preflop; but probably not terribly. He has seen me reraise AJbig here before. The button inevitably goes all in for 250. Do I call, fold or raise; and if so how much. I have 1500

edit to add I remember the days when i could post coherantly first time over

I would fold. If the button wasn't in the hand you wouldn't want to be in it either. Whatever way you play it, you risk playing for your stack against the other players in order to get a 60% chance of getting the button's 250.

I fold - UTG is too likely to have a strong one, and you are effectively gamling ... and might well be behind.

better spots than this hj, drop and hope the live one takes it down.

if I decided to play the hand I would make it 500 to go letting the table know I like my hand and making them need a real hand to come over the top.

Nothing really to add here. You'll only be called by AA or KK, a likely holding for an utg raiser. It's not a good idea to risk your stack for an unsure shot at $250. And it's better for you if the tard doubles up or rebuys, there's something unsatisfying about cleaning out a shortstacked maniac.

The maniac's name wasn't eyesonme333 was it? He was on 5/10 last night and was probably the worst player I've seen playing this level. He moved on up to 10/20 after but I'm trying to lay off following the maniacs after a few hit and runs higher up.

I dont think theres any reason to think utg is paticularly strong, also If I reraise im probably not putting another penny in to the pot if utg calls me so im not really risking any more than my raise. Plus, its not just a chance to get the buttons 250, because there is now another 135 in the pot. I dont think the other 2 players can call me without AA/KK, maybe QQ. That all said maybe there are better spots given that I can never be that far ahead of the button. Good for my image perhaps!

His name was MrMooss. He was playing 50 1 when I last saw him yesterday
