Christ, it looks like there's well over 10 cops for that one dude with a knife. I've seen alot of guys with knives, but ya can be sure there wont be one garda anywhere near 'em!

1.He has a knife, why should or would they tackle him alone?
2. They have ASP batons, pepper spray, guns, tazers and body armour. The Gardai do not.
3. Are you staing that you have seen and tackled more violent people by working in a cinema than Gardai do in their careers?

I know, I felt the same way! I did hear the shot though, I thought it was pretty bad when they were like, "i didn't think i shot him". Though I have to agree, it probably is an old enough wound, 'cause that dude didn't seem to be in too much pain

Real life is not like in the films. People do not bounce across the room when shot. Blood doesn't jet out from a stomach wound.
Impact feels like being punched and you may not even notice you been shot if you are pumped up on adrenaline or drugs - unless a vital organ is struck of course. Blood will only jet if a big vessel is struck, if bullet does not penetrate a vessel the blood flow will be slow, particularly initially.
