    Intel Pentium M (780) 2.26Ghz
    2GB Ram
    100GB 7200RPM

Design: This notebook looks similar to the 5320. Same silver, black colors with a sleek look.

    Weight: 9.6lbs

    Port layout:

On the backside of the notebook you will find:
    1 DVI Port
    2 USB 2.0 Ports
    2 multi-function Audio Jacks
    1 16c550 Compatible Serial Port
    1 RJ-45 LAN (10/100/1000Mbps)
    1 RJ-11 Modem
    1 S-video TV-Out
    1 TV-in Port (Requires Optional TV-Tuner Module)

One the right side of the notebook you will find:
    2 USB 2.0 Ports
    2 Multi-function Audio Jacks
    1 IEEE 1394a Fire Wire

On the front side of the notebook you will find: Infrared Communication, FIR, SIR and ASK Compliant

    Screen:
The 5720 uses the same LCD screen as the 98xx models. This notebook has the 17”WUXGA LCD (Glossy 1920x1200) or 17”WSXGA LCD (Glossy 1680x1050) option. Screen looks great, good view angel and high resolution.

Keyboard: The keyboard is also the same used in the 98xx series notebooks. Has a full keyboard with number pad.

Media Buttons: The 5720 has a DJ panel allowing you to play music wile the notebook is powered down and closed. Unlike the most Sager notebooks the 5720 DJ panel allows you to not only turn the volume up or down, but play pause stop skip track and previous track as well. Note*

Touch pad: The touch pad works very well with this notebook, no skipping or lagging. The buttons under the touch pad have the same texture as most of the notebook but the corners are cut with a cool looking mirror finish. The scroll button also scrolls up, down, left and right. Note*

Cooling: Both CPU and GPU heatsinks are cooled with the same fan.

Heat: The 5720 feels much cooler then the 98xx. Actually possible to set this notebook on your lap although I still would not recommend it.

This is a temperature comparison between the 5720 and the 9890
    W-Key 5720=90F 9890=93F
    Left Palm 5720=86F 9890=101F
    Right Palm 5720=87F 9890=89F
    Number Pad 5720=90F 9890=84F

    Battery:

The battery in this notebook is 14.8V 4400mAh LI-ION battery, normal use of 1-1 1/2 hours battery life. The battery is designed with a push button release to easily change a battery without need of any tools.

    Benchmarks:

    Gaming experience:

Quake 4: One of the newest online FPS, Quake 4 brings all your old fraging memories back with some of the best top-notch graphics. I was able to play this game great with everything on max at 1280x1024 Resolution.

FEAR: One of the best games I have played, probably one of the most graphics intense FPS out. I was able to enjoy this game with everything maxed but 2x AF, 4x AA, at 1280x960.

Doom 3: This game was best played on the same settings as Quake 4. Could go higher in resolution as well.

World of Warcraft: Tired of lag in ironforge? At 1920x1200 with everything accept AF maxed you will find yourself with an average of 40-80FPS. Even in the worst of areas the 5720 did not drop under 20FPS.

Counter-Strike: I was able to play this game at 1920x1200 resolution with everything maxed at a very nice frame rate.

Note* New firmware has been released to allow you to turn off the DJ panel and touch pad with function+F1. This firmware also allows you to turn the fan on max with function+F2

    All in all:

The 5720 shares a lot of the same qualities as the 9890. It’s also similar to the 98xx as far as performance in games with the 7800GTX. Although it does lack a bit in multi tasking its not too bad. The payoff in this notebook is its cooler to the touch, Sleek design for a comfortable feel. Easier to use in long sessions compared to the 98xx. It’s also roughly 3-4lbs lighter then the 98xx. At a price of under $1900.00, this notebook is a great buy

Nope, just use one of those plug adaptors for a euro or so and bobs your uncle..................
I have 2 laptops from the states and they work fine with these adaptors.
