you will need a good bankroll for the rebuy 400 event, I reckon some people will buy back in about 4 times, so budget 1200 for it, which will included the top up.

The 300 should be a better event for poker.

i thought friday would have been a better event for poker. Thought sunday might have a few aggressive tilters from the main event?.. i dont think i would be rebuying in this event. tx

Playing in the Sunday one, definitely feel the re-buy ones could be mad, loads of sponsored players throwing money around left, right and centre.

thats it smurph, some players are given a bankroll for this event, I heard of one player in the Uk bought in 18 times at a event like this and he's well know. He did end up winning the event, but its about getting as many chips on your table as quickly as possible and than taken them all back.

I have to say I dislike rebuy tourneys.

So do I ollie, but I am wrong in thinking / hoping that a clever player might profit from the final day madness that might occur? Pick your spots and double up during the first 90 minutes? I would love to be on a table with one maniac rebuying umpteen times - any time I've experienced this online I've gone into the freezeout period with a much bigger than average stack.

Didn't andy black buy-in 17 times for a rebuy tournament for a ticket for the Irish Open? Effectively buying the tournament?

No it was 15 times spending €750 and won €3000 ticket. Second got €400 so he needed to win.
