Just got back there...

Played 5 hands in 4 hours

I think we need to redefine card dead after last night. Didn't play a single hand up until the break, with the best hand I'd had being Q2... didn't play a hand for the first hour after the break... was willing to throw all my chips in on any card higher than 10, when out of the blue I get AA! Limped in and managed to double up on those, but that was to be the only big hand I'd win all night...

I got dealt MUCK again for another lengty period until I picked up AJ. I raised but had to fold to a reraise to a lad that showed QQ. Card dead again until I picked up AK UTG and pushed. Got the blinds.

The funny thing was I had built up a table image of super-rock by only playing (and showing) AA and AK. I am usually anything BUT a rock The fact of the matter was, that other than those hands all I had was utter, utter crap. No A10... KQ... not even sooooted connecters. Nothing in any way playable. Absolute muck! Anytime I limped with crap just to play a hand it would get raised...

Its very hard to keep patient when you are getting this volume of crap, and I'm an impatient fcuker as it is... but somehow I managed to avoid tilting. However my friend Mr. Bad Beat ended up being my killer with two nasty ones at the end. Brilliant.

I could still see Culchie and the C Kid when I left. It was just breaking down to 2 tables. Good Luck lads... god knows I had fcukall...

yeah was at ur table at the end beat ur king high with 9 10 i think. finished bout 16th i thionk i had nightmare cards aswell culchie was still there when i left hardest night of cards ever. cant remember what a king looks like never mind an ace.

Out in 5th, C Kid still in, Stephen Dunphy and two others I don't know by name still in.

Ecksor, Careca and OllyK on table at start, and C Kid for the second half of the night.
Had a very active player immediately on my left, so had to be careful.

Started final table with 3rd/4th stack, but really played a hand badly calling what I thought was a bluff, even though I missed the flop...I'm putting it down to tiredness, as was late in the Red Cow last night as well with only 3 hours sleep. That really put an end to much chance of winning, so tried to climb the prize pool ladder as much as possible then.

Poorest final table performance I ever put in.
Another 'cash', but played poorly tbh.

I was a walking definition of tournament variance tonight.

I played beyond awful but ran well to finish fourth.

Played crap. Was on table with culchie and ollyk1 and tried a move against a player who was running all over the table. He had raised 4/5 times and bet each time regardless of flop. I had 55 and the flop came J high, he bet, I reraised all in and course he had AJ this time. oops. Got my second chance chips and had about 7bb when I found KQ. All in and all out.

Played a cash game until 2am and left €25 up for the night. Seemed a lot of effort tbh.

was out in 14th on sunday when my trip A's was beat by an 8 on the river to fill a pocket 8's house full of aces.

Who in gods name calls a 110k reraise when AAK is on the board and you are holding pocket 8's ?

It took me three attempts to get into the fitz last night I kept scanning in with my mini tesco club card! About sums my tourney up:(

Cash games/blackjack however went much better

went out around 25th when last 3 tables formed. I went all in on my SB with T4o i think it was with only the button limping. I had 4500 with blinds at 300/600. It was a stupid play because the button was calling alot of all-ins with weakish holding (JTo was one) and so KJ sees me off
