Here is my little story on them>First one broke after one day, just kept switching off for no reason, brought it back for an exchange and guess what ??????The exact same thing again. So i just got a refund.I would stay well clear.Plus i think i read somewhere that Rio are, or have closed down the mp3 player side of things so if you needed a repair in the future its not possible.

Ah bad buzz altogether, well thanks for the heads up, so is there any recommendations for Mp3 players in the €150-200 price range, I'm looking for something with at least 4Gb.

All help as always is appreciated:)

There are iriver h120 for sale on ebay at the moment and if you bid you should be able to get one for around the 170 euro inc postage(postage is crazy price). My sister has had one for the last 2 years and its perfect,i use it all the time and its excellent, sound is the best i have heard on any mp3 player and i have auditioned a few in my time.Dont forget though to invest in a decnt pair of Headphones or IEMs as the stock buds are crap.

I bought two 6g rio carbon players at xmas in pc world for 150 each. One was a present for a friend and one was for me- my one is still going well and I have no complaints. Plus you can drag and drop and copy music off it with no problems.
the only thing is the one I bought for my friend stopped working yesterday- when you plug it in to the computer it wont stay on and when it is on the computer no longer recognises it. I just checked the support on their website but nothing worked so far... will try using the warrenty but I cant find the receipt. A bit of a sickener but if you still want one they are available from www.rioaudio.com for around $130 at the moment...
