    I finally got my Ibanez ATK 305, and I gotta say, I love it! I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!

    It arrived in perfect condition, no scratches, dings, or any damage, despite being second hand, and coming from the states:

    Very nice, and surprisingly versatile, considering it's just one pickup. Switching it to the bridge I can get that lovely Timmy Commerford tone which I love so dearly. Of course the 3 band preamp does really help!

    Man looks nice! I'm a BIG Timmy C fan too so besta luck with it. As a matter of interest what set up do you use to get a similar tone? I got kinda close using the old marshall guv'nor coupled with some piece of crap plastic distortion pedal I got somewhere.

    I use a boss ODB-3 - litlle bit extra treble, balance at 12 o'clock, and no gain at all. My amp is an Ashdown MAG 300 combo w/15" speaker, it's luvverly. I find the key to Timmy's tone is plucking very lightly with your fingers on medium heavy strings.

    Very nice, ive always wondered about how that bass would compare to somthing like a music man sub or the like,From what i hear its a very sweet bass, paul grey used one at the last irish slipknot gig didnt he?

    Just got a new set of Ernie Ball slinkies and a setup, and it plays like liquid jesus dipped in melted butter and greased up with lightning sauce. :D
