I have everything in the spell check options unselected to all options but still Word is refusing to check the document.

Its a 40pg document which definately has errors and need to get spell check working asap. Any advise please. See the error that comes up after I click the "Recheck document" button in the options dialog box.

Ive tried checking on 2 different machines and still figure out why it wont spell check.................

Click on Tools / Language / Set Language.
On that screen is a checkbox that says "Do not check spelling or grammar". If it is ticked, untick it.

Actually i'm having some trouble with Word 2003 myself. it checks the document for the America English spellings so I change it to the Ireland English setting, however as I check through the document it keeps reverting back to the America English setting. Any Ideas? Its forcing me to learn to spell and I don't like it.
