    Does anyone have a good insurance firm that I cold get a quote form re: income protection?

    I am self-employed and I guess it's probably a good idea to get some....

    Irish life had the cheapest product( because it's the more basic)
    Friends first was the most expensive because it's recognised as having the best product.
    Then in between you had Hibernian!
    whoeever you go for, make sure you know the difference between reviewable premiums and guaranteed premiums, automatic increases without further underwriting, the proportion on your income that you can receive if you return in some capacity to work etc. They all differ!
