External disks which turn off w/ computer?

Can anyone point me in the direction of an external hard disk or even just a external enclosure that will power itself down when I shutdown the laptop? I have an external disk already but I need to manually switch it off every time, I'd like to put it out of the way. I've seen the odd USB connecting ones which use 2 usb…

I've seen the odd USB connecting ones which use 2 usb ports to power the drive but I'm not so sure about those ones. Ideally, it would have its own power supply.
