This is a fun hand. Newish to the table so no reads, but I dont recognise any of these players so its safe to assume they are al pretty bad. Im on the sb with JJ.

Utg who has $450 makes it 18 to go.
Utg + 1 folds. He is the only player I have a note on!
    Cutoff calls he has 550
    Button calls he has 299
    I call - I have 450
BB goes all in for 60 more
    Utg calls
    Cutoff calls
I go all in - good bad or indifferent

I assume the first cutoff should read bb? or am I reading it wrong.

once utg flat calls the bb all in for 60 more you can basically rule out any hand beating JJ as any premium hand surely raises there to protect it from going multi way on the flop.

same applies even more so to cutoff so I think you only have to worry about bb who has a wide range here with so much money allready in the pot, I think pushing is by far the best play with no read on bb.

i was in the same situation in a tourny.
i was even stacked with all the others and i was on the SB when BB went all in.
there something like 7K in pot blinds were 300/600 .
i had 12K behind me and when the action got back to me i went all in.
the only thing is i didnt have JJ.
i had 44 and figured no one has a hand that they are going to call me with.
after i did it i got a lot of abuse ppl giving out to me saying why i did that in a dry side pot.
i tried to explian that basically im getting HU with BB with my push for a 7K pot and my equity is much higher by this move.
they all laughed at me and called me a fish.
i dont think i was wrong.
    was i?

I remember reading a fascinating hand from an MTT that reminds me of this.

If your opponents are good they will recognise that you didn't reraise to isolate after the Cutoff and Button called the first time. Therefore you likely don't have AA or KK or even maybe QQ or AKs. It lets them put you on a good but not fantastic hand decent pair or decent Ace.
If they figure this out you might get action from someone with a pretty marginal hand AQ KQs AT 99. Dunno if that's good bad or indifferent.

In the hand I read a while back 88 isolated with a big all in and was called by A9o after some interesting preflop action. I'll have a quick look and post if I find it.

This is an excellent move imo. The other callers would have to be braindead to flat call the BB's all-in with an overpair to your JJ. The pot is already very large and you will not be able to buy the pot with an all-in post flop if any of your opponents flop a decent drawing hand - Not to mention the chance of someone hitting their higher cards.

It's a fantastic result to have everyone else fold and have all that dead money in the pot regardless of whether the BB is ahead or not.

Well the crux of the hand is that utg cant have AA or KK and neither can I, allthough if I was utg I might think about flat calling and giving someone a chance to push just like I did. Anyway I pushed, utg called and then the button called as well.

    Me - JJ
    Utg - AKo
    Button- J9s
    BB - Q7s

    Flop [Ac 4c 5h Kc 7c]

I win with 1 card flush woohoo!

I lamp it first time around, but you are probably ahead, but will get called by AK for sure.
