    to Irish Broadband (well its in my parents house), they had ripwave, and its the biggest load of sh*t. waiting to get a new BB now by esat. anyway today my sister was trying to get onto the net and she cant get on. do they have a way to cancel it from their end without taking back the actual ripwave box thingy?? she can get on fine on dial up?

    yep they can. Same way a mobile network can block ur phone.

    Thank you, will save me messing around trying to get it working. It was very slow but it was handy to have because it didnt tie up the house phone line. Hopefully Esat will be out this week....
