    Daniel Barenboim is the lecturer for this years BBC Reith Lectures,
    titled "In the Beginning was Sound".

    The first lecture was on Friday last, and as the lectures are made
    over the next four weeks, they are being made available for download
    as podcasts from the BBC site:
