Hey, does anyone know, in the game of darts, what three trebles make up a hundred?

They dont have to be the same (obviously impossible).

So from the numbers, 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30,33,36,39,42,45,48,51,54,57,and 60, which three of these add up to 100? is it possible?

100 is not divisible by 9.

    i believe it is impossible.

The easiest way of finding out would be to throw the darts untill you get the combination.

    But I don't think it's possible.

When you add any 3 numbers that are all a multiple of 3 then their sum will also be a multiple of 3. Since 100 is not a multiple of 3 it cannot be an answer for any combination.

It could be a riddle. You said what 3 trebles. Not necessarily the same number 3 times. My maths sucks so I'm not gonna give you examples :D

    Bingo.

As far as I am awear you have to throw at least 1 double or a bull's eye if you want to end with 100 in darts.

i'm not sure if this is what you mean but i wrote a little program to add them all in turn, e.g.
    3+3+3=9
    3+3+6=12
    3+3+9=15
    3+3+12=18
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    3+6+3=12
    3+6+6=15
    3+6+9=18
    3+6+12=21
    3+6+15=24
    3+6+18=27
    .
    .
    .
    .
    3+9+3=15
    3+9+6=18
    3+9+9=21
    3+9+12=24
    .
    .
    .
    .
    3+12+3=18
    3+12+6=21
    3+12+9=24
    3+12+12=27

etc and none of the combinations added up to 100. the closest was 102. is that what you were asking?

Yeah it is 99, just trying to do it in my head there.

    3x + 3y + 3z =100

    So
    x + y + z = 100/3 = 33 1/3 Impossible.

No 3 numbers on a dartboard add up to 33 1/3

    Wot no?
