Being with friends, in the pub havin a laugh, I don't ask for much. Oh, free drink is nice too, but it's all about the people tbh.

a perfect friday night would be going to the pub and buying everyone rounds because I just won the Euromillions...

Same. *grr* @ those who think you need to be drunk/in a pub to have a great night.

any night that so much fun and wierd stuff happens you cant remember it all 3 days later even when you were totally sober

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 861 ✭✭✭deaddonkey

talking to people you've never met before, somewhere not too quiet, nice beer, greasy food, being sober enough to remember what happened.

house parties and getting rat arsed is fine too though.

Well I din't know what to say....I'm flattered you would ask. I don't really know you and I'm not used to such forward advances but you have tweaked my interest, especially since you don't mind if it gets weird! Im sure you are a lovely person but Im afraid I don't think it would work, you see I tend to light fires when placed awkward social situations. You may come away from our time together feeling burned;)

But anyway, perfect day - sunny day rolling in the grass, playing ball with my son. music in the background..watching Finding Nemo in the evening.

Perfect night, DeMeNtEd behavour, running amuck with mates. Drink is optional, but usually happens when whatever plan we half baked falls apart and someone says "fec it lets do (place ramdom comment there)" to fill the void. The equal rights for gay whales survey night was a classic.:)

Sunny June bank holiday in a beer garden, meeting loads of people you havent seen in ages, getting pissed and enjoying the fine weather.

A trip on a boat with Jennifer Love Hewitt as the skipper would be nice too.

go out and hit the surf for a few hours, come back for a booming house party, take it down to the beach for the perfect sunrise with friends. bliss.

Day - Have to say the beer garden sounds good, live music, all the lads,up at johnny foxs maybe sitting out in the sun with a lift back down the mountain afterwards gauranteed!!

Night - Going out on a "date" with a girl (after drunkenly getting their number somewhere on friday/sat night) that really really seems too good to be true - click with her - and most importantly get a message from her at the end of the night saying "thanks I had a really good time tonight"..........GET IN!

Oh dont be too afraid of the forward advances of a women, on a perfect day for some men it would be the lassies doing all the running. As for things getting weird, well life is made intresting by the weird things ( all be it your responce was as weird as your making mine is lol :p ), many of you men seem to get yourself into heehee ;) As for not working, well i must agree there, as im a person that likes to keep things calm and relaxing, so a fire would be resolved with speed:D

Perfect day - spending time with my family and friends chatting over a very long tasty lunch. Another perfect day would be walking along the Seine, going to the top of the Eiffel Tower and taking a boat trip along the Seine with my other half.

Perfect night - watching shooting stars with a clear sky while snuggling up with my other half.

    christmas day not better?

Christmas Day was ALWAYS an anticlimax. Always. Nothing can beat that feeling of happiness, excitement and anticipation all rolled into one that we felt on Christmas Eve.

for me it would be to go "smokey-smokey" and go to the IMMA (irish museum of modern art)

Night - sitting in front of teh fire with the woman i love a bottle of wine and her child falling asleep between us.

Day - spending time with her and the baby strolling through the park or along the seafront. one of my most perfect days so far was jumping from a plane in San Marco Texas from 15000 feet. hiting terminal and seeing the world from a completly different point of view. that day I learned why birds sing. and everyday I spend with this woman reminds me of it.

Well to stop me starting fires when Im nervous you could always bind my hands but I'm not sure I'd be safe. And it would prevent me from showing you one of my best talents, and one that I just know would bring a smile to your face. Origami!! ;) (look its a swan)

I have also decided to place an add on to my first post.....tickets to a scatter of gigs this summer. Too many to chose from so I want em all.

A day at the races, with lots of winners. Followed by me congratulating Nina Carberry on a superb win, which leads to us going on a date to some fine place. Followed by a nightclub and/or back to her place. Woot woot.

    Well.... I can always dream!
