    My laptop doesnt have s video or composite only vga, is there any possible way of connecting this to my laptop, want to us it for Gps...

    Ya i was actually looking at that on ebay alright..That 7" Monitor is perfect for what i need and cheap aswell just need a way for it to work

    It would be possible to get a connection for the car to power it though?Through the Cig Lighter?

    It is possible but a laptop, ur gps, ur power, ur convertor, ur screen, ur screens power... It'd be a nightmare. More dangerous that anything else n allot of hassle... Why not just get a sat nav unit... U'd be spending €200 ish for the screen for the laptop, u could get a sat nav system for a little more than that....

    Well i have my gps... its powered off the laptop... Laptop has 4 hours bat so that wil do the job... Only power would be the screen/convertor....

    Get a 12v power inverter if you need 220-240v power, 150w one available in Maplins at the mo, reduced a bit but can't remember price.
