The Toronto police in action once again... I saw one of their finest drop his gun at the corner of Yonge and Dundas (just outside the Eaton Centre) while walking across the road and fiddling with it.

Makes for a funny video clip but in reality running a man over seems a little excessive.

How many chances did he have? how many guns were not pointed at him and fired? If you think this is excessive you need too slap on a uniform and walk the mile.

Personally I think they should have shot him.

Probably would have made more sense and been more rational than hockeying him over in a car. Where should they have shot him do you think?

In De Leg! Although, they might hit the main artery, and he could bleed out. Maybe in the shoulder, or the bum bum.

Fairplay to them for getting an arrest and not a corpse, even if it was unorthodox.

Unless he was pepped up on something, he was bound to drop the knife sooner or later, as he was surrounded. Ah well, I'm glad to see that a body bag wasn't needed in the end.

    Oh not mayday again.

Many plain clothes detectives were present at the mayday riot.

How many guns were taken from their holsters???

    None.

ha. my parents live just off that street. i think anyway. it was unorthodox, a bit excessive, but did the job.

There's more than likely a sequel to this clip, where they surround a guy and drive the cruiser at him shouting 'drop the camera'.

More funny stuff! Dumbasses with knives seems to be a theme tonight.

On a side note, when did Lump stop signing off his posts?!
