    Changes to City Centre Bus Stops and Termini

    Dublin Bus wish to advise customers that a re-organisation of some city centre bus stops and termini will take place
    from Sunday 9th April 2006.

    Routes 50, 56A, 77/77A will now be extended to Grand Canal Dock (Ringsend) and new timetables will be in operation from Sunday 9th April 2006.

    From Grand Canal Dock, services will operate via Ringsend Road, Pearse Street, College Street (opposite the Irish Yeast Company) and continue on normal route.

    To City Centre, services will operate via Dame Street, Townsend Street, Pearse Street to Grand Canal Dock.

    As a result routes 50,56A, 77/77A will no longer operate via Eden Quay and the stop at College Green has been relocated to College Street.

    Note.
    *First departure on route 56A now at 06.30 (previously 06.00) from The Square, first departures on route 77 at 05.35 and 05.45 from Jobstown, Mon to Fri.
    *First departure on route 77A now at 05.45 (previously 06.20) from Grand Canal Dock Mon to Fri.
    * Routes 15/A/B/C/E/F will now depart from Eden Quay, with next stop at College Green (old terminus).
    * Routes 44/B/C will now depart from Eden Quay, with next stop at D’Olier Street.
    * Routes 1/2/3 stop at D’Olier Street now moved to Townsend Street.
    * Routes 37/39/A/70/A stop on Dame Street now moved to College Green (outside Ulster Bank)

    Was at Eden Quay on Saturday afternoon and it was a farce. All the bus stops were renumbered (eg 49, 65 & 54). People were waiting at the new bus positions and then the bus whizzes past to pick up at the old bus position!!
