Bus into town and then the 78 or 78A from Aston Quay it seems.

If you walk to Westmorland street (right beside Ashton Quay) you can get a 25, 25A, 66, 66B, 67 or 67A

go right out of Mc Gintys field, straight through Brownlogpass, when you get to Sh1testown, Bellend cross is the one next to the Stickit Inn.

    As for liffey valley... Taxi??

Deansgrange to Liffey Valley in a taxi
I'd say that's 30 EURO minimum, one way.
