Yeah, weird title - I know. Background, punk rocker guy trains BJJ - there was some words, and this guy kept picking on the punk rocker guy.. Then hit him out of nowhere and the rest.. well, see for yourself.

I love this clip, I was even telling Drummo about it a few days ago.
And I'm quite happy to see violence like this, as far as I am concerned thats what real martial arts looks like. Red Pants dude did really well. JOB post away!

    Peace

I'd have to disagree with that statement. I think this is what martial arts hopes to prepare you for, but I don't think street violence is "real martial arts". In a street fight there's no rules and its raw violence, something the dojo or gym/club can not in a million years hope to replicate.

The chap in the red pants only done ok because the other guy decided not to fight.

    Hey,

This stuff is great to see from an analytical point of view. It's probably one of the best ways to lean about real street violence. Same principle of the graphic images of the knife attacks that were previously posted. Might get people thinking are they really prepared in what they teach or study ?(well not some people anyway:D ).

I'm with Fianna, keep 'em rolling in.

I'm not oppposed to viewing street fights online, although I'm not sure they belong here in this particular forum, however an individual has the option to click on links or not.

Anyway, you like street fights, here's just a few..

Guys - I don't see what the big debate is. It's just a video. I think it was a good turn around. Guy acts like idiot, punches a guy for nothing because of his appearance - then the guy turns around and uses his limited ability that I'm sure he learned in an gym, to give the other guy what he deserved.

This is what real martial arts on the streets look like. Pearse is right. It's not pretty, he's not a professional fighter.. he's not an expert, but the little training he had worked just fine and got the result.

As far as saying the other guy lost because he didn't fight.. He's the one who started it.. he didn't expect the other guy to do anything. That's his own loss. All his confidence was gone immediately after the punk guy didn't retreat backwards, and with that - he'll probably think twice before hitting some guy in the street because of the way he looks.

Its the bloody internet, don't spoil the fun. Its what we do :D they're not really debates or arguments because we all know what they mean on the 'net!.

But yea, the asshole who threw the first punch hadn't reckoned on the punk biting back and lost the will to fight P.D.Q..
