Where is the best place to buy Rucksacks, Sleeping bags, Jackets etc.. at a reasonable price. Went to great outdoors and they were only trying to flog the most expensive stuff to us and saying anything else would not do. I dont really want to spens €180 on a rucksack.

Any of the shops along Mary Street Capel Street, the lads who work in them are sound and will do deals etc. , one of my mates was getting a rucksack on mary Street last summer and I was with him and pointed out the ones me and a few of the other lads bought the year before in there when the assistant heard this wed bought a few rucksacks there the year before he took a tenner off the price which is sound and they don't try and make you buy the most expensive thing.
I always find Great Outdoors staff unhelpful they are always too busy chatting to their mates who call in about some "gnarly" adventure holiday there just back from .

I agree. Millet's on Mary St had the best selection and price range of all the places I tried.
