    what grit of sandpaper should I use to sand joint filler

    put the JF onto sections of plasterboard on an ensuite wall.

    Depending on how much of a ridge you left really.If its fairly flush id go with P100 but if you overfilled try P80 then go onto smoother sandpaper to finish.The lower P you go the rougher it will be.
