This isin't a bad beat! Please criticise this away (kindly...).

I was cursing myself after the hand for not folding to his reraise, as the hand was screaming that I was beat. I'm only posting the hand history to give a clear view of how the hand went.

    He wins almost $300...

I almost folded to his reraise, figuring he could only be holding 67 to go over the top. However, looking back on the hand I thing there are numerous hands he could have had. A2, set, AX hearts...

Considering he was a tight player, is this an easy fold? Did I play the hand badly? Is this one of the situations where folding the second nuts isin't too difficult a decision?

I would be interested to know the EV of calling here.

Nasty business, if he'd raise with A2 or a set there then I'd have done the same. You did say in the end of your post that he's tight though, so, after he started raising I'd have been asking myself questions and worrying about what he had.

67 would definitely have popped into my mind and I don't think I'd have jammed like that on the turn, I would have bet again and seen what he does for confirmation of my suspicions he has 67 since he limped in.

I know... I'm still annoyed at myself for doing it. The whole time I was thinking 67, 67... I don't know why I didn't just follow my instincts. Sometimes you just force yourself to believe they can't have the only hand that can beat you...

    ah well... live and learn
