Hi guys, i just moved into a place in Portobello, right across the canal from the college. Naturally all the college wireless points are protected but there's one or 2 in the area free and when i try to connect it just pops up saying "connecting to network" for about 2 minutes and then the message dissapears without it having connected... Any idea what i can do to get connected?

If they're college AP's and you're meant to have access then contact the college IT dept.
Otherwise, go sit on the naughty step.
