Most online stores (Komplett, Elara, Dabs, OcUK) sell a variety of cases just go with whatever suites your tastes I would guess. My personal bias is towards Lian Li & Silverstone cases they can be pricey but are quality products.

If your after something not too common there is a specialist site called X-Case that deals in cases only, never used them myself and I don't even know if the ship to IE (though they display an IE flag on their website).

Yeah i was flicking thorugh the komplett cases alright!!
what exactly would i need to future proof the case (if thats possible)?
i'll be building a gaming rig mainly and waiting for the next generation of processors/directX10 and X10 GPU's but that shouldnt really effect my case should it apart from possibly the power supply?

Many thanks for the prompt reply too

You want a good quality case, with good construction and airflow.

Soundproofing so it does leak noise is also a consideration.

Antec sonata II (comes with dacent 450w psu)
    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=311799

Sonata II is a very good price for a very good case, a bargin for what you get for the money.

    or
    Antec P180 (NO psu)
    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=311800

High end case, great airflow and good noise reducing features.

High price though and it needs a cable extender for your psu for the main power plug that goes into the mobo as the psu is mounted BTX style at the bottom of the case not the top.

The sonata looks the business alright plus good price but would 450W be enough for future lets say sli/crossfire high-end gaming rigs??
i've also heard that its not the wattage but the 12volt rail or something thats important (okay i dont know what i'm talking about here)

Next gen hardware doesnt change anything, everything will still be ATX form factor & compliant same as the current stuff.

That 450W is perfect for a regular system: i.e. 1 high end gfx card, 2/3 fast hardrives and a dvd burner.

Wont cut the mustard for a sli system.

SLI/cross fire is way over rated imho, but if you were to go down that route get the p180 and a 500w seasonic or other dacent high quality psu.

i agree about sli being overrated but i'm thinking future wise it may become a lot more desirable!!! thanks for the advise keep it coming!!!! is it possible to get the sonata in 550w i thought i saw it somewhere??
