New Kind of 'Recruitment Agency'

    I was thinking about this:

To hire a combined payroll/ credit control costs no more that Euro 32K per annum.
To hire a decent salesperson costs 32k per annum basic plus good commission.

Why not get a group of IT people together and hire a salesperson to place us. This person would work for us. So we would get the 'Agency price' for our services. (obviously we would have to pay the salesperson commission).

Also : Imagine honesty from the salesperson or people, knowing exactly what is going on, being able to slash rates in tough times (and knowing the agency wasn't billing you out at the same price) also think of the backfill possibilities.

I think this is an idea whose time came about 3 years ago.

    Lets go.

That is the worst idea I've ever heard.

I think it is a good idea. I worked as a recruitment consultant; it isn't a great job. Weird business and I don't know why anyone sticks with it as an employee.

Seriously why would the above idea not work, we would pwn the contracting business.

I agree. It would be nice as well to have transparency during the whole process. I think it could work.
