Frank Cronin full of lies

    haha,

So regular forum watchers will have seen all of the abuse Frank Cronin has gotten over the last while about being a money grabber and the likes but new evidence concludes this is rightly so. Frank Cronin isn't posting upcoming gigs out of the goodness of his heart, who would be bothered?(The Pope wouldnt and neither would I!). He says its the gigaholic inside of him that posts these upcoming gig lists which are often littered with expensive titles and pop rubbish but it's the greed for money inside that gets the better of him.

If you have a look at the site below, a link to myspace.

    http://www.myspace.com/deadgirlsandboys

A few of us often wondered why Frank could be seen hand in hand with this band at alot of gigs, to be honest I thought he was fornicating with them but I can't be right all the time can I?

Here is why he loves them($$$)

"The Dublin 3 piece pop-punkers have also recently secured management, Frank Cronin spotted them supporting the recent Blood Or Whiskey album launch gig and saw and heard something he knew had great potential, "they weren't just another live band they had real presence - they were an obvious unit, rare indeed"

Before I post the damage it would be best to clear something up, when they supported blood or whiskey most people actually walked away for there set and this is confirmed on a DVD recording. What Frank saw wasn't something unique it was sheep who he thought could appeal to a certain market and would jump at the offer.

"Cronin has his sights set on a global market for DGAB, and is confident his lads can cut-the-mustard and are destined for stardom. Affectionately known by the band as 'The Ringmaster', Cronin sees the current wave of pop-punk bands as the perfect time for Ireland's answer to Green Day, so watch this space."

    Need I say anymore?

A message from us to you Frank.

    PISS OFF.

Can't argue with a man who speaks the truth,

I was at the Blood or Whiskey gig and couldn't help but the notice that everyone walked away as soon as DGAB came along. Frank we can see through your facade. Get off the stage buddy.

Absolutely nothing got to do with the band. It's his promoting of these gigs that are not punk and it's quite obvious he is involved with the promotion which in turn surely means he recieves money for heads that show up. In other circumstances the boards 'community' has turned around to people like this and said pay boards for advertising(Not that im promoting the idea).

This "investigative" thread started off interesting but in the end it faltered more then a drunken Shane McGowan.

Now this thread would maybe have been better used in your post.

Eh... Didn't we all know he was DGAB manager before this? I did. But, he posts about loads of gigs that DGAB aren't playing at too. And even if it was only DGAB gigs, it's no different than anyone in a band / organising a gig posting about an upcomming gig.

The only thing that annoys me are those stupid blurbs. But that's just me.

Also, now that there's a thread about Frank Cronin, any chance we could keep all the flaming out of the other ones? That's really the most annoying thing about all of this.

To be fair, it comes as no suprise, there are many, many self-serving promoters shilling away to their hearts delight here on boards, and the punk board is rife with it. People like this have no interest in boards at all, they're only out for their own interests, and really should be treated the same as any other shill - sitebanned.

I just have one question for Frank:

How come DGAB weren't listed on your "07.04.06 Goldblade - Best kept secret!" when they are actually playing with them?

Neither do I, but I'd agree that most are being ****. He's just posting about gigs for **** sake.

Ag Marbh just seems to be wanting to make a name for himself? :p

Cut the crap, someone will deal with it, it's not for you to openly speculate.
