Medical Examinations in Primary School

Who remembers these? I think it happened twice during my time in school. The doctor would come to the school for a few days and a room would be set aside and every pupil would be examined. I remember the exams being quite thorough and involving them checking your posture and how you walked etc a swell as the usual stuff. I think the parents accompanied the child to the exam.

I remember the dentist coming too once or twice.

Do these school checkups still go on?
