    Are AC/DC in the studio or something, and are therefore unavailable for the slot?
    However that means they would be here next year(ish)?

    I have to see AC/DC before I die. Or someone ELSE will die.

    They're supposed to have a new album ready for release, but it's been rumored to be ready for release since the beginning of last year, and there's still no sign of a definite release date. According to melodicrock.com, it's scheduled for this year, but no date yet. Mind you, they said this last year, too!

    They only went into the studio at the end of last year, so it definitely wouldn't have been released until this summer at the earliest, but there haven't been any updates for ages, other than they are itching to get out on the road again and there will be a tour in 2006 - but wether it happens or not who knows, and wether they play here or not is another thing.........they've been rumoured to play Slane each of the last 5 years and nothing........so I'll believe it when I see it.......
