You can buy a Cambodian Visa on entry. It's either 20 or 25 dollars. I bought my Vietnamese visa in London, It took 5 days to process but you can express it. Don't know how long it will take in BKK.

    Have a lovely trip.

We took the bus from Saigon to Phnom Penh and crossed the border at Bavet. It took 4 bloody hours to get across, forget about queueing, just join the vietnamese in the melee and push through on the Vietnamese side. I actually saw people throwing passports at the vietnamese officials across the room. It seems that a couple of dollars in your passport seems to get you through as lot quicker but you have to wait for the last person on the bus anyway.

Once you kinda cross no mans land you get to the Cambodian side. Totally different kettle of fish. The immigration people are lovely and friendly and you should get through pretty quickly. You pick the bus up again on the other side.

You can sort all your visa's in Bkk at any travel agency on Khaosan. Can do cambodia on arrival but it can be frustrating, nice to walk straight through! Think with Vietnam visa you need a specific date that you'll be entering the country, but been 2 yrs since i got one...

You can't get Cambodian visas at all of the border crossings. The visa is stamped with a price of $20 but we paid about $26.

The Vietnamese embassy in BKK is fairly convenient and accessible, just off the Sky Train at the top of Sukhumvit Road. We got our visas the next day and they cost about €40 each I think
