And hes good value at 4/6.

Can anybody give me a reason as to why Black Jack Ketchum wont win?

Pissed in both times against the EXACT same competition and facing them again today.

Neither the jockey moved nor a whip was pulled.......

Rather large fences are the only thing that could in my opinion. After his run in Cheltenham, i would imagine once he stands, he will win.

Ahhh one of the worst words ever to be used in Horse Racing (and not just by you rag2gar). I too have been a victim of this.

He should easily win this, by any pundits imagination. He strolled around Cheltenham, and literally did not break a sweat.

He looks great, AP is one of (if not the) best pilots around. His form reads like a picket fence on lysteria lane. I'm laying him ;) .

I thought it was hysteria lane? ;)

He should do, looking forward to the race very much.

Hes such a classy horse and with AP i really cant find any reason to lay him?

Good value to lay? I think not

Its going to take a miracle to stop this horse. Hes one of the most valued in national hunt and theres no way they'll run him with an injury or antin stupid like that.

I backed him last two times and i dont think ive ever seen such one side affairs in horse racing either. Where are the others going to find their form from? Not only did he piss in but he wasnt asked a question.

If this horse gets beaten horse racing is officially rigged, simple as that

Well, anything can happen. It could fall or be taken down by another horse. But I know what you mean. I think Powerstation e/w at 12s is a monster of a bet in comparison to taking BJK at 4/6.

Powerstation is indeed a good price at 12/1 e.w but i just cant see him beating BJK. I know that horses that win at cheltenham dont always go as well at aintree due to the different type of tracks but it looked like BJK has plenty of pace as he basically won on the bridle at cheltenham and McCoy even said afterwards that he got there too soon as nothing was going quick enough to take him along any further.

That's the point I was making, it doesn't have to beat BJK to get your money's worth. If it does then great, but if it comes second it's still way better odds than 4/6.

    Money Trix to win.

Will have a big LAY on Black Jack around SP time on Betfair.

What type of price you thinking about laying darkness. I would be very interested in taking you on here.

Maybe I should have said "i'm laying him" followed by:

I was going to say why not place Powerstation on Betfair but he's actually 2/1 to be placed on Betfair. Even though he's 18/1 to win. I don't think your post is correct though. If you put €100 on BJK you're getting €166 back if it wins. To rish the same amount on PS you'd have to put €50 e/w and if he's placed you get €170 back. It depends what you think is more likely.

Because Ugaro was crying out for this and he has Paul Carberry in the saddle. Remember he has good form with Skys The Limit and I think he is the only one who can land any blow to BJK

You cant say i didnt warn ya!

I know it was a crap price but as i said this was in "certainty" catagory due to the opposition he faced.

rag2gar you are definately a genius amongst men.

Seriously, what a horse, walked it and one for the "remember Red Rum" brigade. For once in my life, this was actually 'easy money'.

A crap price for Aintree but that price would have been way too high for your average meeting. I had a bit on him but my brother put his biggest ever single bet on today, €2k. Probably nothing to some on here. :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,088 ✭✭✭rag2gar

    Yeah i had 550 on him @ 8/11.

My third bet of the year. And two winners, both were him!!

More of a poker player than a horse better!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,715 ✭✭✭Nalced_irl

I didnt back him, simply for the bad odds and Aintree is not the easiest course with too many hazards for a price like that. But again, not even one whip by the jockey, same as Cheltenham. What a horse is right. Absolutely incredible!
