i got this message, haven't sent it on yet though, it could be some trick to sign up for some Jamster style ****

    anyone know if its legit?

I gave it a whack anyway, txt came from the GF so trusted it. If she put me on Jamster or any sort of FKing credit sapping service there will be FKing hell to pay! :)

The ID for the return message was Meteor.

Obviously it could be 3 weeks until you can tell the credit will be delivered, I will report back any findings.

Gave them a ring out of curiosity, guy said it's not a valid promotion... >.<

Never go for these things, but since the GF got a message back I gave it a shot. Anyway, take it with a pinch of salt regardless of who owns the number, sorry to get any hopes up, hopefully I won't have too much hassle...

Did anyone check how much it costs to text that number? :/

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,285 ✭✭✭Smellyirishman

Yeah, it all seems quite legit. Why would they not advertise it a bit more to show how great they are!

Who knows how it will turn out, have always avoided these things but when the GF got that message back it seemed fairly legit. Only time will tell I guess.

No idea how much it cost, don't track my credit just top up 20 for free texts then let it run out on it's own accord after a month, rinse, repeat.

I think it's free...I checked my balance using *#100# before and after & it was the same...

What happens if you do it, say 5 times?? Will you get a message saying "We were going to give you €5 but now we won't you greedy b*stard"?

Edit: oops, just read the bit about 1 per person. dang it!

Apparently there was a certain fund available, it's all gone now, just get a message saying to look at the website for future offers.
