Another 360 surround sound question.

Ok, I picked up the Digital AV cable pack from play.
Then realised that my Phillips home theatre system has a digital in, but not the spdif square little plug socket. Just the ordinary round phono one.

Based on this I didn't open the cable pack as I suspect it will be useless for my needs.

Has anybody else tried to connect for digital sound without the wee small square plug on their sorround system?
Is there an adaptor to bring the sound from the square socket on the scart cable to a round digital in socket?

Also, I have the premium pack, soprobably didn't need the cable set after all.

Strangly enough I was in totterdales today and I saw a thing that you put your optical cable into and it outputs as coaxial, as far as I know thats all you could do to get surround sound working with your reciever!
This is the type of thing...

Thanks for that, didn't even know those existed!

Now, does anyone know where to get one of those cheap and better yet locally?

LOL... Galway is local for me. I'm guessing Currys or the like would give me a weird look. Might try Maplin actually.
