    Have this on both laptop and family PC. However they never seem to burn properly. Everything I burn them an error message comes up when I put hem in the cd player.

    Ive used Nero since Ive been on computers so I know Im using it properly etc - it burns to 100%, ejects the disc saying its done etc but most cds dont work.

    Any ideas?

    You know I had something of a similar problem a while back but it wasn't really restricted to Nero (is yours ?) turns out it was the crappy CD-R media I was using after buying some good quality ones no problems with any device reading a burned audio CD.

    Plextor CD-R's are re-branded Taiyo Yuden CD's the best media manufacturer period for CD & DVD's, some more can be found here.

    go to nero,settings info,make sure cds finalised,ie burn once, NOT MUTISeSsION MODE, single session ,look at all burning settings,i only use 650meg on cdrs, i dont use every single sector.SET overburn, OFF.

    Are you burning audio CDs?

    If so you have to use the audio burn option so that they are burnt as .cda, and not as a wav or whatever

    Sorry for the delay in reply here. All setting appear to be correct. This happens on both PCs funnily enough. It is audio cds Im burning. Some burn perfect but some just wont work...
