    Hi

I have enquired with an english university about transferring from Ireland to UK.
They tell me that the course has to be a "chemistry based" course.

Can anyone tell me what courses in Ireland qualify as chemistry based courses ?

I would have thought that meant a course which was predominatly chemistry based i.e. one which probably has "chemistry" or "chemical" in the title???

Many of the ITs do a Higher Certificate in Applied Chemistry. The first year is common but in the second year you specialise in Chemistry.
