Just the usual stuff about protocols used on the internet, what would you do with a PC that couldn't access the internet etc etc. Nothing too out of the ordinary.

Don't show any hint of a personality or try to be light hearted at ALL with them, i've had 2 phone interviews for Google and got 90-100% of the stuff right, and didn't get any further.

Any company that thinks it's so much better than everyone else that it can put someone through FIVE INTERVIEWS for a pretty poxy position like a field tech or adwords, and then maybe not even offer the person the job, doesn't really sound like a company i'd like to work for.

    Hi everyone,

Is there any one there working for Google in Dublin? Just considering changing jobs, and was wondering whether it is all worth the effort and time.
Would any be so kind as to tell me, e.g. what the core working hours are (do they expect you to work after hours), are they baby-friendly company? (I've recently had a baby), etc., any thing really that could make it more familiar to my mind.
    Thanks in advance.

yop! well, I almost joined google. i was unhappy in my job about 10months ago and looked them up, had to do some form of appitude test before they would concider me..and then 2 interviews.. wasnt at all chilled out, sorta felt like they were looking for a certain type of people.. when they went to exaplin the adwords job spec, they said that i could be temping for 11 months.... and if i do not perfom to googles standards, the contact will be terminated(at any time)..also, they have very cramped working space, reminded me of a college computer lab or net cafe... fuk that i said, why leave a permanent job to join a temp one that sorta wants ye out the door if you don’t fit in!! Yikes... plus, it pays less than where i am now!! eBay are pretty cool to work for, its a lbit far out of town, but ye can chill some days and it is passed with out much notice. Allot of internal promotions to!
