Anyone read any of his stuff? Apparently, like Stephen King he was extremely popular in his day but failed to gain the credit from the intellectual writing school. He was the highest paid author in the world in the 30's.

I remember reading various short stories of his in a massive collection about 5 years ago. I enjoyed his short stories: exotic, to the point and interesting.

Didn't he the Razor's Edge. Was good enough book, kinda lost it towards the end but the first 2/3rds was great.
