Hey new to the forum and have a slight problem,

As i'm only going to be playing live on the 360 I want to cancel my account on the xbox more importantly i dont want it renewed on my credit card for another year.
So does anyone know how I go about this I tried looking up the options on the live screen (you know the one when theres no disk inside) but with no success.

Call Xbox live support, simple as. They are really easy to deal with and should sort this out fairly quickly.

Did you buy another account just to use on your 360?

When your signing up again try ebay for a 12 month subscription, you can get them alot cheaper than just going straight through with your credit card!

Yeah just ring and cancel, I also think there is a setting in the control panel to switch off automatic renew.

Better off ringing them to cancel. When I originally got live, the credit card I used was going to expire in about 10 months. I never bothered cancelling because I assumed they wouldn't be able to renew the subscription with a card that had expired. They even sent me an email telling me to put new credit card details in or they wouldn't be able to renew. They attempted to make the charge on the expired card and my credit card company just allowed it to go through on my new card even though MS didn't have its details. Something I thought was pretty dangerous.
