    I got this shot today while in the park... I had my camera with me and holding it in my hand while throwing some bread at the Swan when it suddenly decided to take off and fly! I threw away the bread, grabbed my camera and literally just point and shoot, no time to zoom or focus....

    I still like the result, but would have been a better shot with the entire bird on the pic and a bit better focus. I took a second pic when the bird was actually flying 10 cm's above the surface, but this pic is badly focused and too much glare on the water as it was directly towards the sun.

    Wait until someone else is throwing bread, the swans start fighting and eventually one of em gets pissed off and flies away...

    Sometimes you need to be lucky to be good :D Those birds are massive, it's amazing to see them take off and fly.

    The river at wicklow harbour can get pretty manic at feeding time!
