    Hi,

I am hoping to spend 2 weeks in this amazing city this May.. I dont want to bear the cost of staying in a hotel so I was wondering if anyone could recommend an apartment that they may have stayed in??

I have done a search on boards and found some links but I am hoping to get a recommendation of an apartment that someone has stayed in!!

    Cheers

    We stayed here

    http://www.oh-barcelona.com/en/accomm_descr_short/refnr_138321/

Great apartment, in a great location. Right on the beach, walking distance to Las Ramblas and the metro.

The owner was really helpful to and there was loads of info in the apt on things to do etc. He left food and drink there for our arrival. Will definitly stay there again.

    hi jonny68,

We really want to stay in an Apartment cos we will be 9 days there and I want to get more of a feel for the city..

I was there before years ago and cant remember too much about it (apart from I really loved the city). Bacelona really stands out to me more so then Paris, London, Amsterdam, and even Reykjavík!!

I just have to work out where I want to stay I reckon the Gothic Quarter would be ideal as the missus is preggers so been in near the action would probably be handier for her rather then having to get the metro or bus. But then you have the noise issue been so close to the action!!

    Thanks again for your reply,

    Branners
