Playing big draw?

This hand happened in a $25 9 seat stt on PPP last night. Im not sure how i played the hand and looking for some advice on how to play these type of hands in the future. We were down to 6 players and the blinds were 30/60 and i was on the button. I had roughly my starting stack of 2000 and villain had about 2300

I got dealt 5h6h, would usually muck this hand to any raise but there were 2 limpers so I just called too hoping to see a cheap flop. SB joined in and BB checked so 5 people to see a flop.
    Flop came down 4hQh7s.
2 blinds and 1st limper checked, 2nd limper made it 240. I reraised to 720, all folded to initial raiser who called.
    Turn came 7d
What should have been my play now after it was checked to me.

i'd take the free card, you opponent is giving you infinite odds to hit your draw, however a bet may lead to you being raise and hence with more chips and no odds to call you may have to fold.

With this kind of a flop in a tournament I'm normally very careful. Yes you have what seems a massive draw, but what if you're up against Ah 7h, suddenly you're only drawing to 6 cards in the deck for the nuts.
A lot of what you should do is down to judgement and your read on the villian.

If the villian checks to me on the turn when the 7d hits I am checking behind hoping to hit my flush or straight and show down my cards. I might call a small bet on the river if I hit my straight or flush, but this is marginal and again would depend on my read of the villian

Don't forget with the 7d hitting, a house is also a possibility

I'd just push, but then again, I'm more aggessive than most with draws. once he doesn't have QQ (highly unlikely based on pre-flop) but something like KQ, QJ, etc. are likely, I'm happy to take the pot here, if he folds, if he calls I have loads of outs. (Hopefully)

If this was a cash game and I was moderately stacked I would push here and gamble, agreed.

In a tournament, this isn't the type of hand I'd want to go broke on. As I've said you're looking for only 6 cards in the deck to give you the nuts off the flop. If he's got a higher flush draw then you, you'll have to really suck out on him to win this pot.

Well I'm looking at my fold equity, combined with the stack I'll be left with if I miss, this pot could be the difference between trying to squeek into the money and taking control of the table and winning the whole thing.

If I'm out I'm out, just load up another STT but at least I didn't sit around for an extra half an hour just to bubble or to simply double my investment with a third.

Like I said, I had a feeling alot of people would disagree with me, but I like to take these risks to get a big stack, allowing me to bully the table. But again that's just me.

My basic reasoning is: I think he has KQ or JQ and he'll fold to a push here. Otherwise he would have pushed after my significant re-raise on the flop.
